Grant application

Trustees plan to meet quarterly on or about August 1, November 1, February 1 and May 1. Proposals on hand 30 days before these dates will be considered at the above dates. Proposals received less than 30 days prior to a quarterly meeting will be considered at the following meeting.

In order to consider a proposal for a grant, we must have the following.

  • A brief (2 pages or less) description of the proposal listing:
  • What the funds will be used for and who will benefit.
  • How much money is needed for the entire project.
  • How much has been raised.
  • How much is requested from this Trust.
  • Approximate time schedule for completion and how soon the money is needed.
  • A copy of your most recent determination letter from the Internal Revenue Service or documentation of your tax-exemption as a governmental or other publicly-funded entity.
  • The names and affiliations of your current board members.
  • Any other materials you may wish to include which will be helpful to us to better understand your proposal.
  • We may ask for the following additional information:

  • A detailed budget for the project/program.
  • Complete financial statements from your last fiscal year.
  • A list of corporate and foundation contributors to date and the amounts received from each.
  • A list of other sources being approached for the project and the amounts requested from each.
